i'm back on the genealogy wagon. not sure if that's good or bad, but i'll find out soon enough. can i go to school for genealogy? besides psychology, it's the only thing that gets my blood pumping. i could probably incorporate the two, no? there is that whole "DNA psychology" flapping around out there. either way, it keeps me busy (aka - refraining from spending money), the brain exercised (i've learned more about 'american'-i have yet to updgrade to a world membership- history than i ever did in school), and i've met some helpful/interesting people along the way. one in particular has done quite a bit of research in my absence which means - UPDATE. towards the end of september i stopped frequenting forums and the like in hopes to save a few bucks and focus on the preparations for the cross country move. getting settled took longer than expected so i didn't have much time to spend hanging on the internet.. and i moved to an awesome city with lots to do, therefore not neeeeding to lose myself to the firefox. but, since it's raining and raining makes me lazy, and i got my lower body annihilated at a fitness class yesterday (call me hobbles), i figure it's a perfect day to play researcher once again.
i'm stoked to have my membership back but looking at my info and all the updates that need to be done is pretty daunting. yay! fun sunday!
oh, and those who have cable (not i!); ancestry.com and NBC have a show premiering on march 5th called "Who Do You Think You Are?". i enjoyed Faces Of America. i'm sure it's similar.
