i was hoping to start this blog off differently, but things never really go according to plan. i think i need to just stop planning altogether, it makes situations much less stressful. anyways, we made it to san francisco on monday, three days earlier than anticipated, and went to check out our apartment on tuesday. without getting into detail, it didn't work out. we quickly changed our minds and have been staying with a (very) kind friend in oakland. i was hoping we would come to SF, get settled and spend a couple weeks doing super exciting semi-touristy things.. things that would make this blog super exciting as well. obviously, that isn't the case, but it's still super exciting because now we're hunting for a place to live!
we went and checked out a studio somewhat close to our original spot, but it ended up being much too small for the three of us. it was also pretty far south, down near daly city. we have four places in SF lined up for today, so wish us luck! i started uploading all my photos, all 900 of them (yikes!), so i'll be getting some pictures up pretty soon!
i know i said i should stop planning, and i should, but i'm HOPING to update this somewhat daily with all my little (ad)ventures.. stay tuned!
